Tucker is a 1-year old cattle dog mix at the Delaware SPCA. He came to the shelter as a stray and was extremely fearful. He was adopted out twice, but his adopters weren't able to handle this smart, energetic breed coupled with a young, unsocialized dog's anxieties. He was returned first for herding the adopter's old dog; with the second adopter, he unfortunately bit a 12-year old neighbor child. Tucker needs an experienced and cattle-dog savvy home that will keep him mentally and physically stimulated.
During his time at the shelter, he has blossomed into a friendly, fun-loving dog. He just needs someone to give him a chance. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped.
