Meet Theo!
He's a one-year old Border Collie mix who's totally fun, smart, and, as you can see, CUTE! He's neutered, up to date on shots, house trained, crate trained, and even knows some basic obedience. | Theo's short life didn't start out so great. He first came to the shelter when Animal Control rescued him and three other dogs from an unfit home. He was pretty shy at the shelter and very protective of his kennel. The shelter staff wasn't sure he'd be adoptable, but he's in foster care now and doing super well!
Theo's just young and needs to learn about the world. He's finally getting to be a puppy--and really enjoying it! He's learning about toys and how to play in general. He does love his dog buddies and even seemed to like the shelter cats quite a bit. Theo can still be shy with people, though, so he needs continued socialization. |

Theo shares his foster home with another foster dog and the five resident dogs. He learns a lot from them and earned full house privileges within a week of arriving. He stays in his crate when no one is home, during meals, and at night. Most of all, he enjoys being with people and always stays close by his foster dad. Although Theo's fun and exuberant, he isn't overly active--he knows how to chill and hang out. He is smart and would probably enjoy an active hobby like agility, flyball, or frisbee! Or just someone who wants to play with him a lot! |
